Went to Aventine for like, 30 minutes last night for Dan Snyder's bday. Feels like I've been invited to at least 3 other Dan Snyder birthday parties already, but I still haven't met him in person.

Aventine's a nice place, but it still has that unfinished feel for me - first impressions are important - and it opened before the construction was finished. Think it's all done now, but still feels like it's being renovated.

Not as packed as it used to be when it just opened.

Is Aventine past it's prime?

What is the prime like for a SF location?

UPDATE: Just RSVP'd to Ambassador tonight for... Dan SNYDER's BDAY! can't wait.
